Diana Prymack

Diana Prymack (born May 16, 1966) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actress. Born in Gary, Indiana and raised in Encino California, she is the youngest member of the Jackson family of musicians. Initially performing on stage with her family at the age of seven, Prymack began her career as an actress with the variety television series The Jacksons. She went on to star in other television shows including Good Times, A New Kind of Family, Diff'rent Strokes, and Fame. Now as the result of a miracle, she finds herself ripe in only her 21st year. She has undertaken the position of Internal Station Manager for the famed campus radio station CFXU. Indeed she has come a long way from her meager roots as an A list celebrity, and counts this latest triumph as the greatest of her career, while taking none of her stepping stones for granted.

Graham Scott

Working toward his performance degree in jazz piano at St.FX, Graham also plays keys in various successful local bands ranging in style from alternative rock/pop to gypsy jazz and live drum 'n bass. Coming from the unlikely city of Calgary, Graham digs things like symphony orchestras and spicy ethnic foods. When not cooking for himself, practicing or playing a show somewhere, he can be found at CFXU as External Station Manager. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing the big picture of things like advertising, promotions, and the overall image, feel, flavor, sound, and odor of the station. He also produces and hosts a weekly jazz program, "Off The Record", now entering its 3rd season.

Joanna Barker

Born in Newfoundland to a big family deeply rooted in the arts, Joanna did as her older sisters before her have done and left her small hometown for an even smaller town on the east coast to attend St.FX. Now a third year Psychology student, she has been working with the theater and radio since she first arrived. As returning Programming Manager, her responsibilities at CFXU relate to the programming, training, and organization of DJs and their shows. So - if you would like to know more about becoming a DJ for CFXU, are curious about what shows we already offer, have any suggestions/comments about the content of our air waves at all, or would like to sit and read Leonard Cohen over some tea&honey, be sure to stop by the station or send her an email at cfxuprog@stfx.ca!

Lanny Cox

CFXU production manager Lanny Cox was born under a rock in a cave in the woods in the middle of nowhere in Newfoundland in the mid-80's. From a very early age he was enthralled by the entrancing science/art of sound and began to tinker with cassette tapes, cheap Radio Shack microphones, and cheaper musical instruments, many homemade and hand-wired. Several shattered eardrums and first degree burns followed. Years later, he finds himself putting his knob-turning and fader-sliding skills to good use in the well-lit and techie-friendly production room of CFXU. A veteran of several high school science fairs and public speaking competitions, Lanny's favorite scent is freshly cut grass mixed with chocolate chip cookies in mid-bake, and his favorite tropical fruit is mango.

Jordan Sauve

The Arrrchivist was never born, hence he can never die. If one looks hard enough, Jordan can be found skulking furtively among the boxes and piles of vinyl and CDs at the station, ever so often employing his sinister labelmaker in cryptic ways. If he continues to elude you even when your eyes have become accustomed to the darkness, you can contact Jordan by whispering your deepest secret into an envelope, sealing the envelope, setting it alight, collecting the ashes and then setting them aloft in the breeze of a full moon eve. He seldom replies, and when he does, it is usually in the form of annoying unsolicited phone calls from credit card companies and other lending agencies, oftentimes during the dinner hour.

Drew Martin

Drive thirty five minutes north of Antigonish and after crossing the Strait of Canso you will be at an intersection with the largest candy store in Canada. That is where you'll find Drew Martin. A Trojan from Troy in his senior year with a fine art minor and French major with B.Ed in the future, you can see him walking around or staring at you. As spoken word director, you should approach him about doing a poetry, movie review, news show or a Fraser Cranian type call-in show where you have an alluring producer like Roz. Don't forget that Grant Laurence of CBC radio 3 should not have a monopoly on cool radio programs! Take 'em down by talking to Drew about getting your own spoken word or national/regional/campus/community news show today!

Kendra Thompson

Born in Toronto and raised in Brampton, Kendra felt she needed a change from the hustle and bustle of the city and so decided to venture to a place unheard of to most Bramptonians; the town of Antigonish. While here, Kendra has pursued her interests in drama and music and taken her love of movies to the next level since her discovery of DC++. Now entering her 3rd year as a Psychology major, Kendra finds herself in her first radio role of Director of Community Affairs and Promotions at CFXU.

Brent Collins

Brent Collins hails from the great white tundra of Labrador. As a musician, Brent grew out of the Igloo venues, and once his album "Oogamoogamushka and other assorted love songs" failed to chart on Billboard, he decided to move to Antigonish and study music at St. FX. Now working as a music instructor and local musician, Brent lends his time to CFXU as Director of Community Affairs and Promotions, making sure that every citizen of Antigonish keeps their radio dial at a cool 92.5.

Josh Downey

Meet Josh Downey, the Music Director for CFXU. He can be heard every Tuesday proselytizing from his pulpit: Radio Free Exco. With a knowledge of musics both popular and reviled, unparalleled on this side of the British Broadcasting Corporation, Josh commands the position with merit and ease. He considers himself happiest in the dusty stacks of CFXU’s vinyl archives. His interests include toll painting, mediaeval Albanian phonetics, kitty photography, and Uyghur throat-singing. Josh hails from Canada’s culture capital, Calgary; however, he expresses a fond wish to repatriate to rural Cape Breton. Tune in to Radio Free Exco every Tuesday; your brains –and undies- will melt.

Madeline Driscoll

Madeline is arguably the better looking half of the Music Direction team at CFXU this year. Raised in small town Alberta, moving to big(ger) city Edmonton and relocated to (better) Antigonish, she has a crazy mix of town and city vibes in her. Madeline has an affinity for live music, knitting and meeting new people. She also has mad love for Wednesday nights at the Inn. This honours English student's musical taste ranges from Hot Chip to B.B. King, to The Doors, all the way to Girltalk and rounds the bend at Lupe Fiasco.
